Temperatures remain subdued in the north with 21° in Sterzing and up to 31° in Bolzano.
General situation:
A humid north-westerly high-altitude current determines the weather.
The weather:
On the main Alpine ridge and in the upper Vinschgau Valley, clouds are building up from the north-west and it is slightly changeable. In the rest of the region, the sun will shine at times, especially in the afternoon, with variable, mostly high cloud cover. The tendency to shower will remain low. A northerly foehn will blow in the north.
Thursday will start off unsettled in the west and north, otherwise mostly sunny. During the day, the sun will often shine alongside a few clouds, but the clouds will remain more persistent in the north, especially towards the Ahrntal Valley. The Föhn wind will continue to blow in the northern parts of the region. On Friday, the sun will shine frequently throughout the region, with only a few harmless high clouds passing through during the day. Saturday will bring high-summer weather, with only a low probability of thunderstorms in the afternoon. There will also be plenty of sunshine on Sunday with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.
