The nearby and very advanced Rosengarten - Carezza ski resort guarantees for fun in winter. The sunniest and most family-friendly ski resort in South Tyrol is a member of the renowned Dolomiti Superski ski carousel. The Carezza ski resort offers some great highlights in winter. The “Hubertus” cable car for 8, the “Pra dei Tori” automatic chair lift for 4, and the “Tschein” chair lift for 6 up to Kölner Hut with breath-taking downhill slopes await you for an unforgettable skiing experience. The modern artificial snow-making facilities with 170 snow machines guarantee for snow from December to the end of March.

40 perfectly groomed slopes of different levels of difficulty and the SnowPark Carezza for winter fun at the  highest level. Two ski schools offer a varied programme of group courses and private lessons for beginners and pros, to increase the joy of skiing and safety on the slopes. The new “NaiLand” Kinderland at Fromme Alm features a modern rope pull lift, which is the only one of its kind in South Tyrol. A snow snail guarantees fun for children. One themed slope from the Frommer Alm to Welschnofen tells the story of King Laurin and his Similde at six stations.

The great cross-country tracks, the winter hiking trails and the toboggan run guarantee for variety.

The bus connection to the ski resort operates every half hour. The nearby Seiser Alm can also be easily reached by bus, and awaits you with unique adventures and endless snow.

Tierser Cabrio Cable Car - A Unique Ascent into the Dolomites

Since 2022, a new 3.8 km long cable car with 60 seats has connected the Tiers Valley to the Rosengarten. From San Cipriano, in just 7 minutes, you can reach the Frommer Alm in the Carezza Dolomites ski area and the hiking area of the Rosengarten.

The elevation gain is 644 meters. A special highlight is the rooftop terrace on the gondola, which can accommodate 10 people and makes the ride an unforgettable experience. It is Italy's first cable car of this kind. From the Frommer Alm, the King Laurin cable car takes you to the underground mountain station at the Rifugio Coronelle, into the realm of King Laurin.

Under the motto "less is more – nothing is better," the valley and mountain stations have been gently integrated into the stunning landscape beneath the Rosengarten. The stations are hidden underground in the meadows, with only the entrances and exits remaining visible.

The opening of the Tschein chairlift also in summer introduces a new tour at the foot of the Rosengarten: from Tiers, you can reach Lake Carezza without a car, using the cable cars and a short walk. The connections to the hiking trails have also been improved with the new cable car links.
